West Virginia OrthoNeuro is excited to announce the consolidation of our physical therapy services that are currently offered at both our Ortho and Neuro/Spine Locations. Neuro/Spine Location Physical Therapist, Stephen Summers, will be relocating at the end of April 2019. Mr. Summer’s will be joining the current Physical Therapy Department at our Ortho Location located at Northgate Business Park 100 Tracy Way Charleston, WV 25311.

Steve has been with our Neuro/Spine location and specializing in spine patients since 2011. Please be aware that he will continue to provide the same quality care he has shown our community and patients over the years. However, the consolidation of our physical therapy departments will allow Steve to enhance the services he already provides to our patients as well as expand his scope of practice and receive outside referrals from all physicians who order patients to have physical therapy. Meaning Steve will be able to continue to provide excellent spine related physical therapy services as well as accept patients who need physical therapy services that are not related to the spine (e.g. physical therapy services for a patient’s knee, shoulder, elbow, wrist, etc.). This is an extraordinary benefit to our practice, our patients and the community. We hope you are looking forward to this transition as much as we are and we are thrilled we can continue caring for all your physical therapy needs.

As a valued patient of WV OrthoNeuro, we thank you for taking time to read this exciting news and ask that you please update your records to reflect this change. Please feel free to call either location if you have any questions or concerns. Contact and Office information for both locations can be found at the bottom of this page.

We are pleased to announce that effective January 1, 2018, Bone and Joint Surgeons, Inc. has partnered with Neurological Associates, Inc. to form West Virginia OrthoNeuro.

Dear Patients,

We are pleased to announce that effective January 1, 2018, Bone and Joint Surgeons, Inc. has partnered with Neurological Associates, Inc. to form West Virginia OrthoNeuro. The combined practice will offer comprehensive surgical services in Orthopedics, Neurosurgery and Spine, Foot & Ankle and Physical Therapy Services.

This is an exciting transition for both specialty groups who have longstanding reputations for quality surgical care in the community and Southern West Virginia. Our greatest strength has always been our experienced healthcare professionals and by joining the practices we will only improve that strength and the infrastructure needed to support our qualified providers in a changing healthcare environment.

By forming West Virginia OrthoNeuro, we will be working to improve the services and communication tools we offer our patients by moving to a single electronic medical record system, website and patient portal. We appreciate your patience as we work diligently to update our computer systems in the coming weeks.

We have also been working to inform various health insurance plans about the changes in our company. Patients may experience delays in authorizations and approvals for services as health plans update their records to associate our providers with the new company. Our participation status with some health insurance plans may also change as of January 1, 2018.

Although we will now operate as one company, West Virginia OrthoNeuro, you can expect the same personal relationships that you have experienced in the past. You will still be cared for by the same quality healthcare professionals, at the same locations, and with the same quality of service.

Please join us as we look forward to this new chapter in our mission of improving access to quality healthcare and providing continued access to specialty care for West Virginia patients and their families.

Sincerely,

Diana Williamson, CPA, Administrator
West Virginia OrthoNeuro
